Welcome to the Sultanate of Oman’s official mobile Donations App for Charitable Organizations.

With the exponential growth of donations via the mobile platform in recent years, promoting a culture of donation within the Omani community through the Donations App available on smart phones is the next step.

The Donations App makes it easy for Omani citizens and residents to donate with a single click from anywhere and at any time.

The official mobile Donations App has been developed by the Information Technology Authority (ITA).

In February 2009, the Information Technology Authority (ITA), in association with the Ministry of Social Development, launched the official online Donations Portal for Charitable Organizations. Utilizing available technology and tools, creating the official Donations App was the logical next step.

The Donations App has been developed with the vision to promote charity for valuable social causes in the Sultanate of Oman, by providing an electronic gateway in which to facilitate payment of donations to charitable organizations supported by the Ministry of Social Development.

This App supports humanitarian efforts for charity by eliminating the donor’s problems of time and distance using technology. Connecting donors and beneficiaries, this electronic channel processes charitable payments through utilizing the ePayment Gateway operated by the ITA.

The Donations App processes donations through credit cards issued in Oman and currently does not accept donations through any other cards.
